Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of administrative experience.
Prior success as an Office Administrator or equivalent position with manufacturing environment experience is a plus.
What you'll do:
Preparing reports, memos, letters and other documents as needed Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies Maintaining records management database systems and retention Update records of continuous improvement report Inventory sub ledger responsibility (IC to GL variance report) Transforming raw data into reports Sending paperwork for received purchase orders to the accounts payable department for payment processing Entering data for EH&S related activities (reporting injuries, conducting safety meetings, distributing Monthly Safety topics, month end reporting etc.
) Miscellaneous Duties:
Answering phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages Analyzing incoming mail, memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution Performing other related duties and projects as assigned.
What you'll bring:
Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent Associates Degree with a Business Administration focus preferred; or 2-3 years administrative experience in a manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Able to complete multiple projects on time and with minimal supervision, which often serve several people and contain conflicting deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
