Summary:
A bakery is looking for a credit and collections project associate to help maintain account balances for customers.
You will be expected to monitor and contact customers with outstanding accounts receivables and ascertain all delinquent and skipped invoices from the bakeries.
You will also continuously update and record information into SAP and prepare spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
This position requires constant interaction with other departments at the primary work location and communication with clients.
Responsibilities Go through the open A/R aging and request tickets Rebill major accounts and individual customers Print invoices and ensure customers receive copies Contact customers and follow up on invoices Properly check and correct edits on a daily basis Keep data updated and paperwork maintained for all assigned accounts Follow up on customer and bakery emails and calls Give any disputed payment differences to the Supervisor for research Provide monthly reports to plant personnel Maintain the cleanliness of the work area Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Perform other duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the job Experience and Education High school diploma or GED (required) 1
year of credit and collection experience (required) Requirements Be able to generate written communication, make accounts payable entries, operate a computer keyboard, a 10-key calculator, etc.
Be able to read and review written communication Have computer software skills including Excel, Outlook, SAP, and Word Have great written communication and telephone skills Retrieve and replace work related materials from a storage area Clean background and drug screen Exceptional customer service skills Willing to undergo a credit check Attention to detail Able to sit for long periods of time at a desk in front of a computer Business casual attire Location:
