We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Lead to be based out of Thomasville, GA.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for investigating customer complaints, developing and ensuring implementation of corrective action, and providing guidance and training to employees on QA processes and standards.
What you'll do:
Quality Assurance Lead's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead investigations of customer complaints and non-conforming parts in the process Develop and ensure implementation of corrective action Manage plant calibration system (quality equipment) Lead cross-functional team troubleshooting and problem-solving meetings Run required tests such as dimensional, impact, burst crush tests Ensure all records of audits, tests and quality requirements are kept and available upon request Review reports, test results, and documents generated by Quality Inspectors Lead formulation trials and maintain formulations in compliance with listing agencies Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately What you'll bring:
Minimum High School diploma with 5
years of QA experience Good understanding of basic math for quick and accurate counting and calculations Knowledgeable of NSF standards and certifications Previous leadership experience Knowledge of steel or manufacturing processes desired Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted Within 3 months, you'll:
Complete any required training Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
