Our programs include a community-based mental and behavioral health clinic serving six counties, an after school resiliency clubhouse that serves Thomas County children and youth, and a residential care program for teens in custody of the state of Georgia.
The ultimate purpose of all Vashti Center's programs is to strengthen disadvantaged families by providing them with the tools, support and therapeutic services needed to keep them healthy, whole and resilient.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team.
Our Community Support Workers are responsible for acting as the case manager for each youth on a caseload.
CSW will provide face-to-face and collateral contacts as specified on the individual's treatment plan.
We need reliable, hard-working people who will be able to balance their duties with the daily demands of their job, which includes providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, and a high school diploma is required.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and carry out the delivery of services to the youth and family in managing or preventing crisis situations.
Assess each youth's support needs, and identify strengths which may aid them in achieving resilience, as well as barriers that impede their development of skills necessary for age-appropriate functioning in school, with peers, and with family.
Will provide support to facilitate enhanced natural and age appropriate supports, i.
e.
, will assist with connecting families with community resources such as other organizations, churches, extended family and other appropriate resources.
Assistance in the development of interpersonal, community coping and functional skills, including adaptation to home, school and healthy social environments.
Will assist the youth in the acquisition of skills for the youth to self-recognize emotional triggers and to self-manage behaviors related to the youth's identified emotional disturbance.
Will identify with the youth and family risk indicators related to substance related disorder, relapse, and strategies to prevent relapse.
Ensure that all community-based programming complies with all applicable regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
To comply with fiscal intermediary service timetables.
Progress notes shall be completed and placed into the youth's chart within 7 days of service delivery.
