Summary:
This position is responsible order fulfillment for Wholesale and Distribution order channels.
This is a key role in the process and the position will be focused on the following areas; order fulfillment, order processing, shipping, receiving, data entry, inventory control, quality and safety.
This position is a hands-on position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
10% Cleaning throughout the plant.
(4 hours) Clean tools, parts, floors, hallways and walls Cooler Cleaning Maintaining Loading Dock 60% Order Fulfillment (24 hours) Filling Orders Packing, Sealing and Shipping Boxes Pallet Assembly and Loading.
20% Data Entry and Order Processing (8 hours) Order Printing and processing Data Management in Wherefour BOLs and Shipping Manifests Checklists 10% Inventory Management and Organization (4 hours) Daily/ Weekly Product Inventory Cooler Organization and Upkeep ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Completing additional cleaning assignments Carry out all reasonable requests by management to assist in any area of the plant as needed.
Help with inventory when needed such as production supplies, chemicals, and other supplies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Education:
High School degree required Certifications:
HACCP a plus.
ServSafe Certified a plus.
Computer Skills:
Must be well versed doing data entry and using a computer and/or tablet.
Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for cheese making equipment.
Knowledge of and ability to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and ratios.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously and accurately.
Ability to utilize strong problem solving skills and develop new ideas and solutions to problems.
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities with a sense of urgency.
Ability to exhibit attention to detail.
