Engineering Technician - 498

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
o Produce CNC output code for laser & plasma cutting systems based on production drawings.
o Generate CAD files from existing product designs.
o Perform material evaluations for production orders.
Requirements:
o Must be proficient in various CAD platforms.
Specifically but not limited to:
Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks o Prior experience with mechanical draftingdesign required (5 10 yrs minimum).
o Must be able to read and understand basic mechanical drawings (blue prints).
o Prior experience with CNC programing software is desired.
Specifically Artube laser software and SigmaNest.
o Knowledge of G programing code is a plus.
o Knowledge of fabrication principles such as welding, forming, plasma laser cutting is desirable.
o Must be capable of working around an industrial shop environment (metal cutting and welding).
o Able to perform in a fast pace/high energy environment.
Must be a team player.
o A degree in engineering or related technical degree is a plus.
(will consider extensive work experience in place of degree) o Prior working knowledge of water treatment systems a plus o Must be organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined o Good communication skills, including verbal, written, & presentations o Computer literate; candidate must be familiar with basic Microsoft Office software suite programs (e.

, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) o Knowledge of SAP business software is a real plus.
o Experience with Lean principles and practices is desirable.
